  • At least 18 years old and have a Diploma / GED

THEN WHY WASTE TIME . . .

When you can be trained efficiently to protect the lives, property, and the environment of the citizens and visitors within the North County response area from adverse effects due to fires, sudden medical emergencies, natural and man-made disasters, and other dangerous conditions.

SO ARE YOU QUALIFIED TO BE A VOLUNTEER?

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a valid Washington State Drivers License
  • Be able to respond to the fire station for emergencies
  • Pass a Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT)
  • Pass a Washington State Background check and a Driver's record check
  • Complete a Medical Examination, and Drug test
  • Interview with the Hiring Committee
  • Complete Firefighter Training Academy and EMT-B Training.
  • Lateral Applicants - Must already be Firefighter 1 and EMT-B Certified
