OPERATIONS
Each year Wildland fires are started in Eastern Washington and most of them are unable to be contained by local fire departments. North County
Regional Fire Authority is part of an agreement that allows us to participate in a Service Resource Mobilization Plan. This is an agreement, so that
citizens of Washington have, and will benefit from a coordinated effort of state-wide fire service to assist with such an event. Since 1994 this plan
has been used over 100 times to aid in the containment of Wildland fires that often threaten protected forrests, property and homes, and even lives.
