Communications
Our communications operations are handled under a contractual service agreement with SNOPAC (Snohomish County Police Staff and Auxiliary Services Center), which is a 9-1-1 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) operating in Snohomish County, Washington.
SNOPAC was formed in 1973, and is staffed with professional and dedicated personnel ready to answer the call, whenever it occurs, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Prior to the forming of SNOPAC each public service agency had their own seven(7) digit telephone numbers and dispatch center.
SNOPAC's dedicated and professional staff is highly trained to receive and process service requests from the public. Guided by our Core Values of Integrity, Respect, Professionalism and Teamwork, the SNOPAC Team recognizes they are a 9-1-1 lifeline to our community as they execute their goals of protecting human life, preserving property and maintaining the security and safety of our community.
Each year SNOPAC processes more than 600,000 incidents across 37 Snohomish County agencies, which include a wide spectrum of incident types including; noise complaints, crimes in progress, missing persons, fires, search and rescue, medical emergencies and numerous others.
