Community Resource Paramedic/Nurse/Physician's Assistant
Community Medical Resource connects underutilized resources to underserved, marginalized, and/or unidentified populations. It is an expansion of the role of the paramedic to provide health services where access to physicians, clinics, and/or hospitals is difficult or may not exist and reduce emergency room admissions. The role exists for the sole purpose of serving the needs of the community and its success relies heavily on collaboration among local stakeholders. They support existing health services; provide integrated health services in partnership with other health professionals.
